Every year our school participates in the Major Saver Fundraiser. This fundraiser is organized by the Kokomo Public Schools Education Foundation. Students sell discount cards included deals from 19 local businesses with buy-one-get-one-free offers. All the proceeds from Major Saver go back to our school and the Education Foundation. Our sales from this fundraiser have helped purchase the award-winning program Brain Pop and Brain Pop Jr. for our elementary students to use on their tablets and computers. Brainpop can also be used at home on any device. It includes learning videos, games, and activities.(Generic login- bonair/brainpop)
As a reward any student selling 15 cards was able to take a limo ride to Jim's Pizza for lunch. The photo above includes our top selling students! Congratulations! In addition to our top sellers our school district raised $19.725.00 and Bon Air Elementary sold 218 cards totaling $817.50 to go back towards our school. Great job kids!
Congratulations to our school Spelling Bee Winners Stephen Garren and Mercedes Chadwell! These students represented us in the district spelling bee last night. We are very impressed with all the hard work they put into practicing for the competition
